Being a single mother of two (my son Jakob & Boston Terrier, Kimbo) and full-time business owner of Birch & Iron Design, is hard (it certainly is no glam show), but utterly rewarding. Often times, my own home is not clean,  which is a minor trade-off for spending quality time with my little tribe of three, and having a career which allows me to create spaces in a home for other families to love, enjoy and make their own memories.

Owning a business is something I’ve wanted since I can remember. After having my son, a spark lit within me and I took a giant leap, deciding NOT to return to my full-time Government job, but to follow my passion. This is how Birch & Iron Design was created - Painting and designing for my clients is what truly fuels my creative soul!
